IMSL organises lecture on ‘Family Business, People and Relations’

IMSL has organized its 24th guest lecture with Mr. G. K. Gupta, CEO of ACCOR Industries, Noida, India, on a theme ‘Family Business - People and Relations’ on Tuesday (April 26) at 5.30 p.m. at its premises 120/10, Vidya Mawatha, off Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo 7. It is the regular monthly lecture organized by the Institute of Management for the benefit of the members and other professionals and for the General Public. Admission free and accommodation is restricted to 40 participants. Pre-registration is possible with the IMSL-Secretariat, however seats will be allocated on first come first served basis, organisers said.

Mr. G. K. Gupta, Managing Director, Accor Industries (Pvt) Ltd. Noida, India, is the present Treasurer of All India Management Association, New Delhi, India, and a distinguished fellow member. He is an expert in the business restructuring process and creative ways to deal with such challenges and to meet any problems. Mr. Gupta has had graduated in both Science and Law and holds a postgraduate degree in Business Management. He has around 24 years multifaceted experience in various Indian companies with world-wide links, and has had considerable experience on joint venture businesses, and had addressed many international business fora and holds the distinguished membership of organizations of repute, in India & abroad.

The two institutes, namely the All India Management Association (AIMA) , India, and the Institute of Management of Sri Lanka (IMSL) have made it possible to launch an exchange programme for professionals of both countries to share views and experience for mutual benefit. This special presentation is also another achievement, under this programme. This event is sponsored by MBA Alumni Association of University of Peradeniya PGIA University of Peradeniya.
