With assistance from all conceivable quarters mass-scale planning and reconstruction are being carried out on a priority basis, as the immediate aim is to resettle the displaced and the tsunami affected. In this instance, the writer reminisces on a session he had with 40 selected Principals from National Schools, on (i) The need for an organisational culture (ii) Developing an organisational culture and (iii) Introduction of good habits and practices in schools. This training program, conducted for one month in November 2004, was sponsored by the Ministry of Education.
