Internews is a media development NGO which has recently startedworking in Sri Lanka. We are producing a radio program called Kiran, which highlights reconstruction efforts in tsunami-affected areas. With Kiran, we want to tell listeners what is being done in the reconstruction process, and give them information they need about how this will affect them.
This is a chance for different NGOs and Agencies to communicate with awider audience, about the work that they're doing. If NGOs and Agencies have suggestions for stories and issues that needto be covered, please get in touch with us. Our contact details are below. Kiran also produces Public Service Announcements that deal with health, sanitation, and other issues. This is another way that NGOs and Agencies who are also producing public education material, can get their message out.
