Please help this promising young student

Malaka Devapriya De Silva is a highly talented Journalism undergraduate student at the University of Colombo. He has made a name for himself in theatre and film and has been invited to attend a International Cinestud Student Festival in the Netherlands. His film 'Life Circle' which is an experimental piece about the life of a woman has been selected to be screened in the competitive section at the above film festival.

Malaka's participation at the film festival will certainly enhance his knowledge in film making and will help develop a student film culture in Sri Lanka. The duration of the film festival is from the 9th to the 17th of May 2005. The organizers of the film festival will provide him with food and lodging. However he needs assistance in collecting roughly about Sri Lankan Rs. 80,000/= for his airfare. He is highly recommended by his supervisor Dr. Dharmasena Pathiraja, the head of the department Prof. Anura Wickramasinghe and the Dean of the Arts Faculty Prof. S. M. P. Senanayake.
